I am currently a PhD Candidate in the Department of Political Science at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where I study Comparative Politics and International Relations broadly, with a regional expertise in Latin America, and a thematic focus on Security Studies. My dissertation work examines the presence and impact of spoilers following civil war peace agreements. I am also involved in another project on the use and effectiveness of transitional justice mechanisms in post-authoritarian and post-conflict countries.
